The offending allergens in one hundred fifteen cases of Korean patients (male 71 cases, female 44 cases) with allergic respiratory diseases, such as bronchial asthma, asthmatic bronchitis and allergic rhinitis, were analyzed by the method of intradermal skin test with diagnostic standard allergen extrats.
Total number of the sort of the offending allergens detected,were one hundred eleven and total frequency of detection of the allergens revealed eight hundred thirty two:
Among them most frequent allergens detected were fungus, pollen, bacteria, house Just, animal hair and daxiders, thease could be called, therefore, five cardinal offending substanc. of allergic respiratory diseases in Korea.
